Tony,

If I had known that you were sleeping with your basketball back in the day, you would have never heard the end of it. Having you regularly school me on the playground most of my childhood certainly cured me of any professional basketball ambitions I had. I hope you and your family are doing well.

Chelsea,

Thank you soo much for your comment!

I think that most people live life and feel like all the points of resistance on their particular path are bad things. I know I used to. Instead, I feel like these are points of the most powerful learning experiences that we ever get!

We should embrace the things that don't work out instead of hanging our heads sulking or giving up. Its NEVER about the failure and always about applying lessons learned into each new situation...

Its been a long hard road but I continue to see the light more and more each day!

So you used to hoop, huh? You don't wanna see me on the court! ;) (sorry, had to do it!)

Be blessed,
Tony

Wow, great post. This was like reading a brief description of my life. lol I was a college basketball player. 1st 2 year I just KNEW I was going to the league haha or over seas, one. Then I began to face reality and see that wasn't happening.

I've failed numerous times in my life but I tribute those failures to my current success. If it wasn't for failing at something I wouldn't be where I am now. In some cases I failed at something that I thought I wanted sooo badly, then in the end accomplished something of much greater value than what I was originally trying to achieve.

Failure is a funny thing. It's my own little emotional rollercoaster. One minute I'm down then I realize the blessing in that one failure and I'm back on my feet again.

Thanks for this!

Nope, not a spy tool at all. It's just a cool way to see much traction distributed links get.

Thanks Ron! When you say that the real treasure is in the thought, are you referring to the thought that spurs the action of giving? If so, that is a great point. Is that what you meant?
